The Obo National Park offers dramatic landscapes with torrents and waterfalls on its slopes, luxuriant mountains which culminates in Pico de São Tomé (2,024 m), sheer cliffs over the sea, as well as primary rainforests filled with exotic birds, butterflies and lush vegetation.

Several tourist circuits have been created, from walks accompanied by experts on local flora and fauna to bird observation tour, in combination with staying overnight at the old plantations (the 'roças').
Ancient farmer, ex-parrot trappers and wild javali & monkey hunter was trained by ECOFAC program to become full time guiding ecotourists and forest guards. The forest is for them a way of life. Their skills and knowledge can help visitors and enforce the conservation effort. They know all about the park’s, combining decades of experience, survival skills with good knowledge of the parrot’s natural history and habitat. You will find them, welcoming you, at Bom Sucesso, proudly exhibiting green uniform with the Obo Park logo mark on it.
